KARACHI Crackdown against criminal elements under National Action Plan (NAP) continues in Karachi as police arrested at least 27 persons including four accused during search operations in different parts of the city on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a heavy contingent of police conducted an operation in Kunwari Colony area of Manghu Pir on a tip-off and apprehended 23 suspects during house-to-house search.
Police also conducted an operation in Musa Colony area of Gulberg and arrested two drug-peddlers Adnan and Jahangir. Police have also recovered arms and narcotics from their possession.
On the other hand, police nabbed two accused after an alleged encounter in Nazimabad area. Police have also recovered arms, motorcycle and stolen goods from them. Police sources said that the arrested accused were involved in several cases of street crime.
